Dr. Nadia Atia is a Reader in Postcolonial and Global Literature at Queen Mary University of London's School of English and Drama, where she has worked since 2012. Her research focuses on Iraq's relationship with Britain, Iraqi literature in translation, and Middle Eastern cultural narratives. She leads a Leverhulme-funded project on diasporic Iraqi literary representations of 'home.'
Education: Holds BA, MA, and PhD degrees from Queen Mary University of London. Teaching includes undergraduate modules like ESH285 (Postcolonial Literature) and postgraduate courses such as ESH7067 (Reading the Middle East).
