Dr. NAMASIVAYAM Ganesh Pandian is a Junior Associate Professor and Principal Investigator at Kyoto University's Institute for Advanced Study (KUIAS) and the Institute Integrated Cell-Material Sciences (iCeMS). He holds a tenured position and leads research in biosciences and cell-material interfaces. Previously, he completed his PhD in Biosciences at Niigata University (Japan) under a Japanese Government scholarship (2009) and served as a Research Associate at Kyoto University (2010). He has also acted as a visiting scientific advisor at Ushiki Patent Office and currently serves as a Visiting Scientist at AO Research Institute Switzerland and Scientific Advisor at ReguGene Co., Ltd.
His research focuses on interdisciplinary approaches in regenerative medicine, biomedical engineering, and tissue engineering, leveraging cell-material interactions. He actively participates in academic leadership roles, including moderating sessions at international conferences. His career trajectory reflects expertise in both academic research and industry collaboration.
