Myra Seaman is a Professor and Associate Dean for Student Success at the College of Charleston's School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She previously served as Chair of the Department of English (2017-2022) and teaches courses encompassing late medieval English literature, medievalisms, and affective theory. Her scholarship focuses on anonymous Middle English texts and manuscript studies, with an emphasis on household materiality and collaborative authorship.
