Mylène Yannick Gamache is an Associate Professor at the University of Manitoba, cross-appointed in the Faculty of Arts with the Department of Indigenous Studies and Women's and Gender Studies Program. She is a French Métis scholar from the Red River Métis community, actively engaged in Indigenous feminist research and pedagogy.

Her research intersects Indigenous feminisms, inter-Indigenous world-building, psychoanalysis, and critical Indigenous theory. She co-founded the Iapi Debwewin Aasaamb Co-Lab, focusing on Indigenous relational governance, funded by a SSHRC Insight Development Grant (2022-2024).
Her recent publications analyze Métis interdisciplinarity, Indigenous womxn's storywork, and Indigenous-Black alliances through a feminist lens. She teaches courses on Indigenous Peoples in Canada, Indigenous Feminisms, and Critical Indigenous and Black Futurisms.
