Professor Rainbow Murray is a leading scholar in political representation, gender and diversity, specializing in French and British politics. She has been at Queen Mary University of London since 2007, with visiting roles at CEVIPOF Paris and the London School of Economics. Her research focuses on gender quotas, parliamentary representation, and political masculinities. She co-edits journals like International Political Science Review and has received teaching awards from Queen Mary (2010, 2012). Her current projects include studies on political renewal in France and the representation of men and parents in politics. She advises international bodies like the EU and OSCE and chairs research networks on political masculinities and French politics.
