Muriel Mac-Seing is an Associate Professor at the École de santé publique (School of Public Health) at the Université de Montréal, within the Département de médecine sociale et préventive (Department of Social and Preventive Medicine). Her research focuses on global public health, disability inclusion, intersectionality, gender equity, and climate change impacts. She holds a PhD in public health from Université de Montréal and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto.
- Affiliations: Member of the RRSPQ (Québec Network for Public Health Research), CReSP (Centre de recherche en santé publique), and co-founder of Women in Global Health Canada.
- Education: BScN (McGill University), MSc in Applied Sciences (McGill), PhD in Public Health (Université de Montréal).
Research Interests: Global health governance, equity-focused policies, disability rights, climate justice, and vulnerable populations. Her work integrates qualitative methods, mixed methodologies, and knowledge mobilization.
Key Projects: Leading projects on disability-inclusive health equity, climate resilience for marginalized communities, and global health governance. Recent grants include funding from FRQS and IRSC.
