André RAVEL is an Associate Professor at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire, Université de Montréal, specializing in epidemiology and veterinary public health. He holds an honorary professorship and leads the GREZOSP research group. His research focuses on zoonoses, foodborne diseases, and the impact of climate change on public health, particularly in Arctic regions. He has supervised multiple graduate students and leads interdisciplinary projects addressing dog-related health issues among Inuit communities and Campylobacter risk modeling. RAVEL's work integrates One Health and EcoHealth approaches, emphasizing collaboration between human, animal, and environmental health sectors.
