Prof. Moutaz Haddara is a Professor of Information Systems at Kristiania University College (Oslo, Norway), and holds adjunct professorships at SP Jain School of Global Management, TIAS School for Business & Society, University of South-Eastern Norway, and the American University in Cairo. He is the Founding Director of the IDEAS Lab and Program Manager for the IS-Digital Business Systems MSc program. His research focuses on ERP systems, Big Data, IoT, and digitization, with over 100 publications. He has received awards such as the Certificate of Excellence in Teaching and the Techne Summit Award. His work spans academic roles, industry consulting, and advisory roles for entities like Microsoft Dynamics Academic Alliance.
Education: PhD in Information Systems from the University of Agder (Norway). Formerly an Associate Professor at Luleå University of Technology (Sweden).
Research Interests: ERP lifecycle, cloud-based systems, IoT applications in healthcare and agriculture, big data analytics, and enterprise systems sustainability. His recent work examines smart city technologies, sustainable ERP adoption, and IoT in energy management.
Grants & Projects: Funded projects from Egyptian, Norwegian, Finnish, and Swedish governments focusing on ERP systems and Big Data. Currently evaluates technology grants for the Egyptian Ministry of Communications.
Awards: Includes teaching excellence, outstanding reviewing contributions, and recognition for service to academic institutions.
