Eli Hustad

Eli Hustad is a Professor at the Department of Information Systems, University of Agder (Norway). His research focuses on digital transformation, enterprise systems (ERP/BI/Cloud), knowledge management, and institutional aspects of IT infrastructure. He leads the CeDiT research group (Centre for Digital Transformation) and teaches postgraduate courses on enterprise systems and research methods.

Research Interests: Digital transformation processes, ERP implementation challenges, KM in distributed networks, sustainability in IT infrastructure, and institutional theory applications in enterprise architecture. His work emphasizes organizational learning, boundary spanning concepts, and socio-technical system alignment.

Recent Trends in Publications: Recent studies address agile documentation practices in ERP projects, cybersecurity through diversity lenses, and enterprise architecture challenges in healthcare. He explores cloud ERP adoption barriers, KM in IT onboarding, and institutional work in digital infrastructure design.

Teaching & Mentorship: Leads advanced courses on enterprise systems management, theoretical frameworks (resource-based view, knowledge-based theory), and qualitative research methods. Advises PhD candidates on IS research methodologies and enterprise systems topics.
