Moustafa Zagho is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of South Alabama’s College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a B.Sc. in Chemistry (2007) and M.Sc. in Chemistry (2015) from Alexandria University, and a Ph.D. (2024) in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi.

His research focuses on enhancing mass and heat transport properties in polymeric materials. Key areas include polydopamine coatings for antifouling water separation membranes and polymer composites with improved thermal conductivity. His work spans environmental, biomedical, and industrial applications.
Recent publications highlight advancements in superhydrophobic coatings, MXene-based membranes, thiol-ene composites, and flame retardants. These studies integrate materials science, chemical engineering, and environmental technology.
