Moses Kamya is an Adjunct Professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Lally School of Management and Technology and the University at Albany's Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Strategy and Management from Rockefeller College and degrees in Economics from the University at Albany. His career spans over 30 years in information technology and New York State government, with leadership roles such as Deputy Commissioner of Shared Services at the NYS Office of General Services (OGS), CIO of the Office of the Attorney General, and Director of the Unemployment Insurance Systems Modernization at the NYS Department of Labor. He has also worked in the private sector as a Managing Principal Consultant at Oracle Corporation.
Dr. Kamya's research and professional focus centers on leveraging technology to enhance government efficiency and public service delivery. His expertise includes enterprise architecture, systems modernization, and IT leadership in public institutions. He actively contributes to developing future government IT leaders through advisory roles, such as his involvement with the NY Government Technology Conference.
