Morris Mendelson is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Business at the University of New Brunswick (Saint John campus), where he has taught since 2001. He specializes in Human Resources, teaching undergraduate courses in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, and MBA-level Human Behaviour and Leadership. Previously, he held positions at Wilfrid Laurier University and Queen's University.
His research examines Human Resource Management systems, leadership impacts on workplace behavior, gender dynamics in organizations, and employee engagement. Key themes include job satisfaction determinants, ethical leadership influences on absenteeism, and organizational effectiveness through high-involvement work structures.
Publications focus on workplace psychology with recurring analysis of leadership efficacy, gender-based perception biases, and cross-cultural HR practices. Research consistently integrates quantitative behavioral analysis within organizational frameworks.
