Morgane FRITZ is a Professor in Supply Chain Management at Excelia Business School in La Rochelle, France, having joined the institution in 2018. She was promoted from Assistant Professor (2018-2019) to Associate Professor (2018-2024) before achieving her current position as HDR Professor in September 2024. Her academic journey includes research and teaching positions at the University of Graz, Austria, where she completed her PhD in Sustainable Supply Chain Management in 2017.

Dr. FRITZ specializes in sustainable supply chain management, with research focusing on corporate social responsibility, stakeholder identification and analysis, sustainable business models, responsible purchasing, and ethics in supply chains. Her work bridges academic research with practical industry applications, particularly in sectors such as mining, agri-food, wine, and energy. She has developed innovative approaches to mercury elimination in artisanal gold mining and sustainable value creation in renewable energy communities.
Her extensive publication record reveals a strong emphasis on connecting sustainability theory with practice, examining how supply chains can contribute to Sustainable Development Goals, and analyzing the role of gender diversity in supply chain decision-making. Her research demonstrates consistent engagement with both European and global sustainability challenges across multiple industries.
