Dr. Amir Hasnaoui is a Full Professor and currently serves as Vice Associate Dean for Faculty and Academic Compliance at Excelia Business School in La Rochelle, France. He has been with Excelia since 2005, progressing from Research Assistant to his current position as Full Professor. From 2012 to 2024, he served as Head of the Finance Department at Excelia Business School.

Dr. Hasnaoui holds a PhD in Management Sciences with a focus on Information Systems Management from Telecom Ecole de Management (2012), a Research Master in Management Sciences from the Institut of Business Administration (IAE) (2006), and a Specialized Master in Information Technology and Business from IHEC Carthage (2005). He also earned Master Degrees in Finance and Information Technology from the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Carthage, Tunisia.
His research interests span FinTech (Financial Technology), Electronic Payment Systems (B2C), and the Appropriation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), with particular focus on the impact of ICT on Education and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). His work explores topics such as Appropriation of Information and Communication Technology, Electronic Payment, FinTech, Online Business Models, and Corporate Social Responsibility. His publications reflect a strong emphasis on how digital transformation affects financial markets, sustainability practices, and business models, particularly in developing economies.
Dr. Hasnaoui's recent publications demonstrate a consistent focus on the intersection of finance, technology, and sustainability. His work examines how digital transformation impacts manufacturing, how green technologies can promote environmental sustainability in developing countries, and how socially responsible investing affects market behavior during crises. He has published extensively in journals covering finance, sustainability, and business management, with a particular emphasis on emerging markets and crisis situations.
