Morgan Powell

Morgan Powell is a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds, contributing to the Leeds Index of Platform Labour Protest. He holds a PhD candidate status at the School of Social Sciences (likely affiliated with another institution, possibly the University of Manchester) where his research focuses on collective action in precarious labour contexts. His work bridges Employment Relations and Social Movement Studies, employing Cultural-Historical Activity Theory. Powell’s research interests include platform labour, trade union renewal, social movements, and political economy.
