Dr. Monique Pointon is a Lecturer in Human Anatomy and Physiology at the School of Dentistry and Medical Sciences, Charles Sturt University. With a long association since her undergraduate studies in the early 2000s, she earned a Bachelor of Human Movement (Exercise Science & Rehabilitation) in 2005 and a Bachelor of Human Movement (Honours) in 2006, followed by a PhD in 2011 titled “The effects of cold water immersion on recovery following the demands associated with team sport exercise.”

Research & Teaching:
Monique specializes in recovery modalities after intense exercise, particularly cold water immersion in team sports.
