Monique Meuschke

Monique Meuschke is a senior researcher at the University of Magdeburg, Germany, focusing on narrative medical visualization and user experience design to improve health literacy. She earned her doctoral degree in 2019 with a thesis on ‘Visualization, Classification, and Interaction for Risk Analysis and Treatment Planning of Cerebral Aneurysms’ and holds an MS in Computational Visualistics from the same university.

Research Interests: Her work centers on the visual exploration of simulated and measured blood flow, introducing automated methods to identify flow characteristics, facilitate reporting, and visualize blood flow alongside vessel wall deformation. Recently, she extended her analysis to group-level comparisons of patients or healthy participants.
