Prof. Susanne Schnell leads the MR Physics research group at the Institute of Physics, University of Greifswald. Her work focuses on advanced MRI techniques for hemodynamic analysis in neurological and cardiovascular contexts, including 4D flow MRI, perfusion-weighted imaging, and vessel wall imaging. She develops clinical tools to predict stroke recurrence and investigate age-related brain changes.
