Monique Lhussier is a Professor at Northumbria University’s School of Social Work, Education & Community Wellbeing. With a PhD in Sociology and MSc in Cellular Nutrition, her work bridges social science and health equity, focusing on marginalisation, welfare, and wellbeing for ‘hard-to-reach’ populations. She directs the Centre for Health and Social Equity and serves as deputy lead for the Health Inequalities and Marginalised Communities theme at the NIHR North East North Cumbria Applied Research Collaboration.
