Monima Chadha is a Professor of Indian Philosophy at the University of Oxford’s Faculty of Philosophy and a Tutorial Fellow at Lady Margaret Hall. She specializes in Indian Philosophy and Philosophy of Mind, with a career spanning academia in India, Australia, and the United States. Her research interests include the history and comparative dimensions of Indian philosophical traditions, particularly their engagement with mind, cognition, and ethics.

Research & Career: After teaching in India, she became a Lecturer and later Professor at Monash University. In 2022, she received the Jack Karp Fellowship at Cornell University. She joined Oxford in 2024 as a full-time faculty member.
