Monika Wolting

Monika Wolting is a Full Professor at the Department of German Literature after 1945, University of Wrocław. Her academic credentials include a doctorate from Warsaw (2002) focusing on cultural symbolism in German literature, and a habilitation from the University of Wrocław (2010) examining garden motifs in modern literature.

Research Focus

Her interdisciplinary research integrates:

• Literary theory with cultural semiotics and narratology
• Contemporary German literature analysis with Polish literary connections
• Thematic studies of migration, transcultural identity, and engaged literature
