Monika U. Ehrman is a full-time Professor of Law at Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law and holds a courtesy appointment as Professor of Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at SMU Lyle School of Engineering. She has previously taught at the University of North Texas at Dallas and the University of Oklahoma, where she led the energy and natural resources program and held a courtesy appointment at the Michael F. Price College of Business.

Research Interests:

She explores gravitational property theory and mischaracterization of natural resources in property law.
