Monika Hofer-Rybar

Professor Monika Hofer-Rybar serves as Deputy Head of the Department of Early Childhood Education at the University College of Teacher Education Lower Austria since 2013, while maintaining a teaching position at the University of Vienna's Centre for Teacher Education since 2007. Her academic career spans educational research, curriculum development, and administrative leadership in teacher education.

Her research interests focus on early childhood education, inclusive educational practices, educational leadership development, and cooperation between kindergartens and schools. Professor Hofer-Rybar has led significant research projects examining leadership skills in early childhood education (2018-2022) and evaluation of pedagogical-practical studies in teacher training programs (2015-2017).

As an academic leader, she currently serves as Study Program Coordinator for the Bachelor's course group 'Inclusive Elementary Education' and conducts ongoing research for multiple university courses. Her work in curriculum development includes membership in working groups for programs focused on inclusion and educational leadership.
