Dr Monika Białek is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Gdańsk's Faculty of Social Sciences, Institute of Media, Journalism and Social Communication. With a PhD in humanities (2007) and MA in Polish Philology (1996), she specializes in radio reportage, radio art forms, media anthropology, and historical narratives in media.

She has presented at international conferences including ECREA Radio Section (2023) and international media convergence events. Awards include the 2023 Rector's Award III degree.
