Dr. Monika Szmelter serves as a full-time Lecturer at the University of Gdańsk's Faculty of Economics with dual appointments in the Department of International Business and Department of International Financial Markets. Her active role is confirmed by consultation schedules for the summer semester 2024/2025 (including June-July 2025 sessions in rooms B402/A217 and online via Microsoft Teams), office location (room 332), and direct contact details.
Her research centers on international finance phenomena including currency markets, financial derivatives, and crisis management. Key interests explicitly documented are financial crisis analysis, banking systems, currency market operations, derivatives market structure, investment portfolio management, and financial risk mitigation.
