Monika Bandi Tanner

Dr. Monika Bandi Tanner is the Head of the Tourism Research Unit (CRED-T) at the Centre for Regional Economic Development (CRED) at the University of Bern. She has held this position since 2012, serving as co-head from July 2019 to June 2023. Her expertise spans tourism policy evaluation, structural change, sustainable development, and digital transformation in the tourism sector. She also teaches courses such as 'Introduction to Tourism Economics' and leads the CAS 'Tourism Excellence' program.

• Studies in Economics, Psychology, and Business Administration at the University of Bern and University of Bergen (Norway)
