Monica Neamtiu is a Professor in the Stan Ross Department of Accountancy at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY). Her academic work focuses on financial reporting, off-balance sheet financing, credit rating agencies, and economic consequences of accounting practices.

Research Interests: Monica’s research examines the role of credit rating agencies in financial markets, the economic implications of accounting disclosures, and the relationship between regulatory oversight and financial reporting quality. Her work often intersects with corporate finance and risk management.
