Monica Greco is a Visiting Professor in the Department of Sociology at Goldsmiths, University of London. She holds a PhD in Social and Political Sciences from the European University Institute and has been affiliated with Goldsmiths since 1996, serving as Director of Postgraduate Research and currently as Head of Department. Her work bridges social science, medical humanities, and philosophy, focusing on psychosomatic medicine, epistemic dualism, and vitalism. She is a Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung and actively supervises PhD students in areas such as medical classification, contested illnesses, and neurodiversity.
