Dr. Mona Stets is a Researcher and Head of the Learning Workshop at the Faculty of Educational Science, Bielefeld University, since 2023. She has been a research assistant in Working Group 3 (same faculty) from 2017 to 2022.
- M.Ed. in Primary School Teaching Qualification with Integrated Special Needs Education
- M.Ed. in Teacher Training for Special Educational Needs (Emotional/Social Development and Learning)
Her research focuses on pupils' questions in primary education, inclusion, and digitalization in teacher training, particularly through OER formats. She leads and contributes to multiple DFG-funded and consortium-led projects.
Key projects include:
- FragS (2019-2021): Video-based study on pupil questions and teaching quality.
- InDigO (2022-2023): Inclusion and digitalization in OER formats.
- FragForsch (2021-2022): Research-based learning projects.
- inklud.nrw (2020-2022): Online teaching environments for heterogeneous classrooms.
Awarded the Dissertation Prize 2023 by the University Society, she also participates in interdisciplinary networks like the DFG's "Ethics in Participatory Research with Children" and Bielefeld's Center for Research on Childhood and Adolescence (ZKJF).
