Mona Hedayati is a Post-doctoral Fellow at Cambridge Digital Humanities, affiliated with the University of Cambridge. As an Iranian-Canadian artist and scholar, she works at the intersection of Science and Technology Studies (STS) and artistic research.
- MFA, MRes, and dual PhDs in digital media, social-political art and design, and interdisciplinary humanities
Her research explores the theoretical and methodological foundations of art-technology intersections, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches. She has presented at over 30 international conferences and venues, including ISEA, Ars Electronica, and IMPAKT Center, while publishing in journals such as Open Research Europe, Somatechnics, and Journal of Posthuman Studies.
Her artistic work has been exhibited globally at institutions like Fylkingen New Music and Intermedia Center (Sweden), Kasko Center for Art and Performance (Switzerland), and the Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (Germany). She has received funding from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada for her MFA, PhD, and postdoctoral research.
