Molly Wolfson is a CCAPP Fellow (2024–) at The Ohio State University's Department of Physics, affiliated with the Physics Research Building. She earned her Ph.D. in Physics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2024, following an M.A. in Physics (2021) and a B.A. in Physics with honors and a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Chicago (2018).

- M.A. Physics, University of California, Santa Barbara, 2021
- B.A. Physics, University of Chicago, 2018
Her research focuses on the high-redshift (z > 5) intergalactic medium (IGM), using quasar observations and cosmological simulations to study the epoch of reionization and the nature of dark matter. She has developed novel methods, including wavelet analysis, to improve IGM temperature and ionizing photon mean free path constraints.
Molly has received the CCAPP Fellow award (2024–), supporting her work in observational cosmology and Lyman-alpha forest analysis. She has mentored undergraduate researcher Linda Zhenyu Jin (2022–present) at UC Santa Barbara. Her publications are available via NASA Astrophysics Data System (ADS).
