معرفی
Arghyadeep Basu is a Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Astrophysics (MPA) in Garching, Germany, where he completed his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Benedetta Ciardi. He is joining CRAL, Université de Lyon as an incoming postdoctoral researcher in the FIRSTGAL team. His research focuses on the Epoch of Reionization (EoR), Lyman-alpha forest studies, and the Intergalactic Medium (IGM), with a particular emphasis on the impact of ionizing radiation sources and supernova feedback.
Research Interests
- Early Universe Cosmology
- High-z Galaxy Formation
- Numerical Simulations
- Radio and Observational Astronomy
- Dark Matter Constraints
Projects
Current projects include:
- Modeling He III transition lines during reionization
- Exploring UV luminosity function variability using SPICE simulations
- Analyzing primordial supersonic flows on Lyman-alpha forest
