Molly Cannon, MPH, is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Health Behavior at the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health. She serves as Deputy Team Lead at Palladium/MEASURE Evaluation, a project funded by USAID. With over 15 years of experience, she specializes in building capacity through training and technical assistance in public health program planning and evaluation across Asia, Africa, and the U.S.
Her expertise spans maternal/newborn health, diabetes, injury prevention, HIV/AIDS, and public health systems. She leads orphan and vulnerable children (OVC) activities in sub-Saharan Africa, focusing on program evaluation and M&E systems. Current projects include work in Kenya, Nigeria, and Uganda.
Ms. Cannon holds an MPH in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1999). Her research and service interests emphasize global health systems, water/sanitation, and injury prevention.
