Molly Beer is a Lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan. She specializes in Creative Nonfiction and teaches courses such as Introduction to Literary Journalism and The Art of the Essay. Her research focuses on biography, American history, and oral history, with a notable upcoming publication, Angelica, a biography of Angelica Schuyler Church during the American Revolution. She leads the Great Lakes Writers Corps, a program fostering creative writing in communities.
