Mollie R. Cummins is a Professor of Nursing and Adjunct Professor of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Utah, holding the Jon M. Huntsman Presidential Chair. With a PhD in nursing science and information science from Indiana University, she has pioneered the application of complexity science, AI, and data science in healthcare since joining the University of Utah in 2004. Her work spans biomedical informatics, exposure health informatics, and telemedicine, with a focus on health information exchange between emergency departments and poison control centers.
