Dr Mohammed Dirisu is a Law Lecturer and Researcher at the Helena Kennedy Centre for International Justice, Sheffield Hallam University, holding an LLM, PgDip in Research, and PhD. He obtained his LLB (Hons) from the University of Benin and is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association. His research focuses on socio-legal studies, human rights, and business ethics.
He teaches modules including Practice of Law and Policing, Exclusion/Rights/Justice, Human Rights and Crime, Business Law, and Corporate Governance/Ethics. He co-chairs Manifest Diversity, promoting equality and inclusivity within the Department of Law and Criminology.
Current research includes 'The Lived Experiences of African International Students in the UK: Precarity, Consciousness and the Law'. He also serves as a guest lecturer at Botswanan Accountancy College.
