Dr. Mohammad Musameh is a Lecturer in Electronic Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, affiliated with the College of Business, Technology and Engineering and the Industry and Innovation Research Institute. His work bridges academic research with industrial applications, focusing on sustainable technology and Industry 4.0 innovations. He holds a BEng (Hons) and a PhD in Electronic Engineering, completed part-time while working in industry.
Research interests include embedded systems, power management for electric vehicles, and nanomagnetic computing architectures. He contributed to the EPSRC-funded Magnetic Architectures for Reservoir Computing Hardware project and developed patents for energy-efficient cooking systems in recreational vehicles. Professional memberships include MIET and FHEA.
Teaching focuses on analog/digital electronics and embedded systems. His 15+ years of experience spans roles in manufacturing, knowledge transfer, and postdoctoral research at the University of York. Recent publications emphasize nanomagnetic devices and Industry 4.0 applications.
