Mohammad Mohammad serves as an Associate Professor in the Middle Eastern Studies & Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures department within the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at Austin. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Southern California and maintains an active teaching schedule through Fall 2025.
His research focuses on Linguistics and the Arabic language, with particular attention to Middle Eastern cultural contexts. His teaching portfolio demonstrates expertise in Arabic language instruction across multiple levels and specialized courses examining Palestinian studies and Middle Eastern minorities.
Professor Mohammad teaches a diverse range of courses including Intensive Arabic language sequences (ARA 601C/381H and ARA 611C/381J) at both undergraduate and graduate levels, Palestine & Palestinians (MEL 321/MES 342), and specialized topics such as Minorities In The Middle East and Al-Jazeera: Voice/Voiceless (UGS 302). His course offerings consistently address critical issues in Middle Eastern studies through linguistic and cultural frameworks.
