Mohammad Faizan Zahid

Dr. Mohammad Faizan Zahid is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center, specializing in malignant hematology, leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma. He focuses on novel treatments for patients ineligible for stem cell transplantation.

He earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Pakistan, completed residency at Temple University Hospital, and served as Chief Fellow during his hematology/oncology fellowship at UT Southwestern. Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, his research focuses on hematologic malignancies with publications in leukemia, lymphoma, and transplantation outcomes.

Awards include UT Southwestern's 2023 Undergraduate Medical Education Outstanding Fellow Teaching Award. Professional memberships include the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Society of Hematologic Oncology. He serves as reviewer for BMJ Case Reports.
