Modesto Covarrubias

Modesto Covarrubias is Assistant Chair and Assistant Professor in the First Year Core Studio Program at California College of the Arts. His artistic practice examines representations of masculinity through drawing, installation, printmaking, textiles, and performance. He co-leads RoCoCo studio and engages in community projects addressing climate change. Covarrubias holds an MFA from Mills College and a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
