Mitra Tavakoli

Professor Mitra Tavakoli is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Exeter Medical School and affiliated with the Diabetes and Vascular Research Centre. She is a globally recognized expert in small fiber neuropathy, particularly in diabetes, and pioneered Corneal Confocal Microscopy (CCM) for early detection of nerve damage and ocular biomarkers.
