Mitchell L. Yell

Mitchell L. Yell holds the Fred and Francis Lester Palmetto Chair in Teacher Education and serves as Professor in Special Education at the University of South Carolina. He concurrently works as a State-level due process review officer in South Carolina and brings 16 years of prior experience as a special education teacher in Minnesota.

His research focuses on critical areas of special education practice:
