Prof. Miro Gardaš, PhD, holds an active faculty position at the Department of Legal History and Roman Law, Faculty of Law Osijek, part of the JJ Strossmayer University of Osijek. He specializes in legal history, medieval legal thought, and 19th-century Croatian legal systems. His teaching includes subjects like History of Administration, Legal and Political Thought of the Middle Ages, Archival Studies, and Public Health Legislation.
Research interests focus on Croatian legal evolution, particularly post-WWII legal actions, Austro-Hungarian legal frameworks, and hunting legislation. He collaborates with institutions like the State Archives in Osijek and the Hunting Association of Virovitica-Podravina County. His work bridges historical legal analysis with modern governance challenges.
