Mirko Draca is a Professor of Economics at the University of Warwick, leading the Department of Economics. He serves as Director of the Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy (CAGE) and holds affiliations with the Centre for Economic Performance at LSE. His research focuses on Labour Economics, Political Economy, Economics of Crime, and Technology and Innovation.
Draca holds a PhD from University College London. His work bridges applied economic theory and policy, addressing topics like crime economics, lobbying dynamics, and the impacts of globalization. He has been supported by grants such as the ESRC Future Leader award (2016-17) and held roles at Harvard’s Safra Center for Ethics (2011/12).
