Mirjam Dageförde

Mirjam Dageförde is Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics at American University of Paris, specializing in political representation, citizen-politics relationships, and inequality in European democracies. Her research employs comparative methods with focus on France and Germany.

Current projects examine failing political representation from citizens' perspectives, conflicts over human values in Europe, and cross-national variations in policy satisfaction. Dageförde holds associate researcher positions at Sciences Po Paris and Wissenschaftszentrum Berlin.

She obtained her PhD from Sciences Po Paris and completed postdoctoral fellowships at European University Institute and University of Oxford. Her work appears in Representation, Comparative Politics, and French Politics journals.

Dageförde teaches courses on European integration, political representation, and comparative research methods at undergraduate and graduate levels.
