Miriam Wüst is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Copenhagen, and a member of CEBI - The Center for Economic Behavior and Inequality. She is affiliated with VIVE – The Danish Centre for Social Science Research (2019-2020), IZA Institute of Labor Economics, and CESifo Research Network.
- PhD in Economics from Aarhus University (2012)
- M.Sc. in Political Science from University of Potsdam, Germany (2006)
Her research focuses on health economics, family economics, and the economics of gender, with a specialization in the long-term impacts of early-life interventions on child and family well-being. She employs empirical microeconometric methods and links Danish administrative data with health records to analyze these effects.
Recent publications examine cesarean section outcomes, nurse-driven vaccination coverage, and universal early-life health policies in the Nordic region. She serves as an Associate Editor at the Journal of Health Economics and regularly presents at international conferences.
