Miriam Tommer is a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Hamburg, affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence 'Understanding Written Artefacts' (UWA) under project RFE13. Her research focuses on Hebrew manuscripts in late medieval monastic settings, exploring their contextual significance and transmission dynamics.
Her current work, Beyond Hebraism: Hebrew Manuscripts in a Late Medieval Monastic Setting, investigates the interplay between Arabic and local languages in manuscript traditions. She has contributed to interdisciplinary research through a 2012 publication on enterprise architecture benefit realization models.
