Miriam Mints is an Adjunct Professor in Surgical Science (specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology) at Örebro University. She holds an honorary professorship at Saint Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. Her clinical expertise includes pioneering minimally invasive surgery for heavy menstrual bleeding and leading research into uterine and cervical cancers.

- Docent in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (Karolinska Institutet, 2008)
Research focuses on uterine lining diseases, endometrial cancer genetics (particularly Lynch syndrome), HPV-related cervical cancer prevention, and self-testing methods for post-treatment follow-up. She leads the RENDOCAS registry for uterine cancer hereditary studies and developed a risk assessment tool for Lynch syndrome patients (available at www.LScarisk.org).
Received SEK 100,000 grant from 'I wear teal' for gynaecological cancer research. Recognized as best supervisor for medical programme courses at Karolinska Institutet (2019).
Operates a clinical-research integration model treating patients while addressing questions such as vascular mechanisms in menorrhagia and cervical cancer recurrence prevention.
