Miriam Capretz is a Professor and Associate Dean (Research) at the Faculty of Engineering, Western University, Canada. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science (University of Durham, 1992), M.E.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (UNICAMP/DCA/FEE, Brazil, 1988), and B.Sc. in Computer Science (UNICAMP/DCC, Brazil, 1981). Her academic career spans over 30 years in software development, research, and teaching.
