Luiz Fernando Capretz is a Professor of Software Engineering and former Director of the Software Engineering Program at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Western University. He served as Assistant Dean (IT and e-Learning) until 2019 and held visiting positions at New York University in Abu Dhabi, University of Technology PETRONAS, and University of Sharjah. His academic affiliations include IEEE Senior Membership and ACM Membership.
